I'm an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying journalism and political science. As editor-in-chief of The Daily Tar Heel, UNC's student newspaper, I led coverage of our campus encampment protesting Israel's war in Gaza and of the fatal shooting of a professor in his office. At the helm of the 350-person newsroom, I learned how to make decisions quickly and thrive under pressure. In addition to my time at the student newspaper, I have worked at POLITICO, The News & Observer, and The Dallas Morning News.
